I resolve that I will sing

with all my being, praises bring

awake my soul!

awake this day!

a song of praise

my hands will play

among the nations

this my song:

God's love is great

his hand is strong

let the nations see you move

let glory fall

and sin reprove

and sinners save

and curse remove

the nations, you will rule them well

gentiles and Israel

they're yours to rule, to judge, to lead;

wrath and mercy crown your head

"authority's been given me"

yet I go out in vanity

afraid of what they'll do to me

take your gospel to the earth!

that men may die and gain new birth

with God we shall do valiantly with God we shall do valiantly
