"I shall not be moved"

what a wicked thing to say

as if you are the rock

the unmoved Mover

there is One who shall not be moved

and you are not Him

He speaks and the earth shakes

one word and mountains crumble

He holds the universe together

by His thought

one lapse in His sustaining will

and we would cease to be

will you not be moved?

O! hard-hearted fool!

like a two-year-old getting mad, telling dad,

he's not going anywhere

before dad scoops him up and carries him away

Be moved.

Be moved.

Move me, O Unmoved Mover!

Move in me, O Breath of God!

Move me.
